Critically acclaimed NYC TV PROFILES celebrates upcoming 100th episode with rare interview with legendary talk show host Dick Cavett.

Media invite to special party celebrating milestone on Tuesday June 20th 6:00 PM-10:00 PM at Ashford and Simpson’s elegant Sugar Bar

NYC May 13, 2006— Talk is often cheap. But not on NYC TV Profiles hosted by Mickey Burns.

Former Tonight Show guest host David Brenner says, “You (Mickey Burns) do the best research of anyone who has ever interviewed me.” And Emmy Award winning talk show host Joan Rivers praised Mickey- “That’s a good question…no one has ever asked me that before.”

And now one of the kings of the genre, Dick Cavett, makes a rare interview appearance on NYC TV Profiles’ 100th show to be aired Tuesday June 20th on NYC TV Channel 74 at 7:30 PM. Cavett talks about his early days in television as a comedy writer for Jack Paar, Johnny Carson and Jerry Lewis; his ability to write hilarious jokes for others was key in his getting his own show in 1968. Cavett discusses his illustrious life and delves into the special bond he developed with fellow Nebraskan Johnny Carson as well as some of his most interesting interviews on The Dick Cavett Show.

And on June 20th at legendary Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson’s Sugar Bar (254 West 72nd Street between Broadway & West End Avenue), the 100th episode of NYC Profiles will be celebrated with a memorable party. Noted journalist Bill McCreary and other celebrities will be in attendance. At 7:30 a live broadcast of Mickey Burns’ extensive interview with Dick Cavett will premier live on big screen TV. After presentations and acknowledgements, singing star Carl Thomas will celebrate the music of Darin, Sinatra, Martin and Anka. Hors d’oeuvres and light dinner will be served with a cash bar.

Concert event marks personal triumph after near fatal injury--as seen on Larry King Live.

New York May 26, 2006- Sometimes an event will change your life forever.
And such was the case with popular singer/songwriter Theresa Sareo, who has appeared in such noted venues as The Bitter End, Hard Rock Café, CBGB’s Gallery, Hammerstein Ballroom, Studio 54, and London’s The 12 Bar Club and Acoustic Café. While standing on a Manhattan corner waiting for a light to change, she was hit by an impaired driver of an SUV and hospitalized for over two months which resulted in the loss of her leg. The story was chronicled in New York Magazine, major New York dailies and in a riveting live Larry King Show.

With the release of her inspirational third CD, Alive Again on June 22nd at the Bitter End in NYC, she chronicles not only her struggle but her victory over adversity. Produced by Ted Cruz and Theresa, it features guitarist Jon Herington from Steely Dan, drummer Shawn Pelton, and members of the bluegrass/gospel group, Ollabelle. In this 12 song CD, Theresa sings about coping with her loss, the memorable people she's met, and her staple love ballads. She continues in the melodic pop/rock/country styles reminiscent of Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt.

Theresa’s music has been featured throughout Europe including Germany, Spain, England and Italy. She's written and performed for renowned artist/painter Mark Kostobi and authors Betty Eadie and Dr. M. Scott Peck. She’s collaborated with the legendary Blood, Sweat & Tears, both in the studio and on stage, with David Clayton-Thomas' 911 tribute, "The Lights of Broadway." She has also produced songs for and collaborated with Vincent Irizzary from All My Children and Live with Regis and Kelly's Kelly Ripa. Theresa's first two CDs, Theresa Sareo and Embrace, have garnished Billboard Magazine and various Internet music awards.

Theresa is also available as a motivational speaker, and a speaker in educational settings. She has spoken to the School of Visual Arts Graduate Art Therapy Program; The New School; ESL (English as a Second Language) schools; to medical staff and students at NY's Bellevue Hospital's departments of Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Trauma, and Rehabilitation Medicine and in many other health facilities.
