Interview:
Lisa Milner, Writer, Film Maker & Activist: 15th
January
2004
Media
Man Australia continues to examine the world of film
and documentary making.
Via
the Australian and Television Office, we received,
and subsequently distributed the press release for
the Lisa Milner's latest project, Fighting Films:
A History of the WWF (Waterside Workers' Federation)
Film Unit.
The
project interested the MMA team greatly, due to much
of broadcaster's Greg Tingle's, and his late father,
"Tricky" Ricky Tingle (and the Black Mack's)
involvement on the Sydney Waterfront, with such characters
as "The Balmain Tiger", George Barnes and
"Cowboy".
You
will be taken on a journey of Australian history as
you listen to this historic interview.
