ROCK SET FOR THIRD MOVIE
He didn't even start filming his second movie yet and he's already locked for his third! The Honolulu Advertiser newspaper reported that during a press conference in Hawaii, the former champion announced that he will be playing King Kamehameha in a true story flick from Sony Pictures.
King Kamehameha ruled Hawaii from 1795 to 1819 after uniting the islands. Rock's second movie, Helldorado, will start filming in September. The action/comedy from Universal Pictures will have The Rock as the leading man along with American Pie's 'Stiffler', Seann William Scott.
11 TV APPEARANCES FOR ROCK IN APRIL
Being a wrestler and a movie star is certainly tough double duty. Just ask The Rock, who in the next month will have 11 TV appearances to make promoting the upcoming release of his new movie 'The Scorpion King'. The fun starts on April 9th with Rock appearing on NBC's 'The Today Show' then it's off to ABC's 'Live with Regis & Kelly' on the same day.
On the 12th, he joins Howard Stern on his morning radio show while on the 16th he's on NBC's with Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show'. On the 17th, CNN is next as he goes one on one with Larry King on the 'Larry King Live' broadcast while also on the same day he appears on E! TV's 'Revealed' with Jules Asner.
On the 18th Rock goes to MTV appearing on 'TRL' and on the 19th first he's on ABC's 'The View' and on NBC's 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien'. The Rock will also appear on the 'Kids' Choice Awards 2002' on Nickelodeon and then he wraps up the month on CBS with an appearance on 'The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.'
