Sorry Mike, But I simply can't sit quietly
and let a list of managers go by that fails to mention Captain Louis Albano.
Lou's antics in the WWF are legendary. His nefarious feud with Snuka and Buddy
Rogers, his double digit list of tagteam champs, his hilarious television appearances,
his welcome face-turn with the "Rock and Wrestling" connection all
merit his inclusion here. He may have the "brain of a dehydrated b.b."
from a steady diet of "unborn, virgin goat's milk," but he's a helluva
nice guy. And not to belabor this point (or get started on this debate which
was already covered here after the event) but I believe the great Freddie Blassie
was in full support of how Vince used him in his most recent appearance. Fred's
definitely got an odd sense of humor...one need only catch "My Breakfast
with Blassie" to see it in action. Finally "mad props" to the
epitome of wrestling managers, our own Percival A. Friend! Gotta love him.
